The Texas Triangle Tour

Tour Description/Daily Itinerary:
The Lone Star State provides the backdrop for this journey which features Dallas-Fort Worth, Galveston and San Antonio, plus Austin, the Hill Country and the unique community of Grapevine.

DAY 1 – Grapevine, Wine Tasting & Dinner
Texas is on the horizon as we arrive in Dallas and transfer to Grapevine for a two-night stay. A brief riding tour of this unique community is included, followed by hotel check in. You conclude your first day with a wine tasting and dinner at one of Grapevine’s well-known wineries. Comfort Suites, Grapevine, TX (D)

DAY 2 – Dallas Tour, Fort Worth Stockyards
Breakfast is provided prior to a guided tour of Dallas to include the Sixth Floor Exhibit, Pioneer Plaza and the West End Historic District. This afternoon, visit the Stockyards National Historic District in Fort Worth with some free time to shop, to visit the Texas Hall of Fame or maybe walk through the Cowtown Cattlepen Maze. DAY 3 – Johnson Space Center, Galveston
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart Grapevine and travel to Houston for a visit to the Johnson Space Center to experience the story of America’s manned space flight program. Later today, you arrive in the seaport city of Galveston where this evening you will enjoy dinner overlooking Galveston Bay. Comfort Suites, Galveston, TX (B,D)

DAY 4 – Treasure Island Tram, San Antonio
Following breakfast, climb aboard the Treasure Island Tram for a riding tour of Galveston. Mid morning you depart for San Antonio with a guided tour of this Star of Central Texas on tap, including a stop at the famous Alamo. Check into your Riverwalk hotel for the next two nights before enjoying dinner and a water taxi ride on the Paseo del Rio. Drury Inn, San Antonio, TX (B,D)

DAY 5 – Texas Hill Country
Breakfast is again included as you begin a day of touring in the scenic Texas Hill Country. You will visit the German community of Fredericksburg as well as the ranch of former President Lyndon Johnson near Johnson City. Return to San Antonio this afternoon for a tour of Ft. Sam Houston. This evening is at your leisure to enjoy the activities and the many wonderful restaurants along the Riverwalk. Drury Inn, San Antonio, TX (B)

DAY 6 – Austin, Depart for Home
Another delicious breakfast starts your day, then board the coach to travel to Austin, the capital of Texas. Here you will be afforded a guiding riding tour which will include a stop at the Texas State History Museum. A box lunch is provided for you as you complete your Texas Triangle back to Dallas and your flight home. (B)

Cancellations 49 – 30 days prior to departure will be assessed a 50% penalty. Cancellations 29 to 0 days prior to departure will be assessed a 100% penalty. No shows forfeit 100% of the tour price.
