Meet your local guide in
downtown Brooklyn and learn how this city, once the 3rd largest in the US, became part of NYC in 1898. Continuing the tour,
you will drive to Fulton Ferry Landing which will offer a
picture-perfect view of the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge
and Manhattan. Next is Brighton Beach, known as Little Odessa,
because it is located by the sea and is chock-full of Russian
émigrés. Coming to this Brooklyn outpost is like arriving at a
Black Sea resort with strong strands of yankee doodle and Jewish
culture thrown in. Lunch will be offered at Tatiana Grill, a unique
blend of Russian and American cuisine, exceptional service, soft
music and stunning ocean views. After lunch, conclude your day with a
visit to Coney Island, a lively and extraordinary amusement empire.
Enjoy a stroll on the boardwalk, visit the variety of amusements and
shops, and for those of you that might have room for a snack, enjoy a
complimentary hot dog from the World Famous Nathan’s Hotdogs.
